Ramblers and Climbers Some definitions to help you with your selection: Climbers have stiff canes and need support. They often have bare bases and benefit from perennial under-planting. Ramblers have pliable canes unlike climbers. They produce new growth from the base, often bloom in clusters and are best grown with support of a fence or against a structure. Single blooms have but five petals. Double blooms have many more petals often in layers, sometimes flat, swirling, cupped or quartered. Our ramblers and climbers are listed in their families to the right. Each family tends to have particular characteristics. If you want a rose for a specific purpose recommend referring to the Roses for a Purpose page. To see prices and terms and conditions click here.
