Climber. Large fragrant white single blooms are borne in summer displayed against dark green glossy foliage. Has unusual elongated leaves - reminds some people of a clematis. Tolerant of poor soil but requires sun. Roland Cooper, curator of the royal Botanical Garden in Scotland, collected the seed in Burma and grew the original plant. To 4.5m.
