A form of The Chestnut Rose that has double blooms of bright pink. It forms a shrub of 1-1.5m in height. Has brown stems where the bark flakes off the old wood and has leaflets. The rose hips are unusual in that they are covered in light green prickles and are reminscent of horse chestnuts. A wonderful curiosity rose.
