Trinity Farm Rose Festival
The 2016 festival will be on
Sat 26 - Sun 27 November 2016
This is what we did last year......
Sat 5 - Sun 6 December 2015, 10 till 4 each day
For a great day out, visit Trinity Farm on Sat 5 or Sun 6 December from 10am - 4pm.
We are hosting our second Rose Festival, celebrating all things roses. This event is partly a fund raiser for the Wellington branch of the Heritage Rose Society. Entry is $5 payable at the gate. Children 16 and under are free. Eftpos is available.
Visit the Rose Festival and see, smell, touch and taste all things roses. The 3 acre garden featuring one of the largest collections of heritage roses in New Zealand will be at its peak. Some of the fascinating histories of selected roses will be on display in the garden. Rose plants will be available for purchase.
Rosarian and author, Ann Chapman, will be giving tours of the garden based on roses and the people they were named for that feature in her books. Karen Piercy will be giving rose care demonstrations throughout the weekend and guided tours based on rose families and their uses.
The timetable for each day is:
