From Sydney's Balmain Gardens. Large single pale pink flowers with a white eye, bloom in profusion in early summer, followed by intermittent repeats. Evergreen in Otaki and carrying clusters of small hips in winter. Healthy and prickly. Good grown as a free standing arching shrub if you have plenty of space. To 3.5m. Will also climb trees.
